Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

Fritz Staffing Group is currently hiring for Journeyman Electricians that have experience in Commercial/Industrial work. This would be a Direct Hire placement. Our customer is based out of a southern NJ town called Franklinville. Our customer base/services include Chemical Refineries, Glass Manufacturing. Food Processing, Pharmaceutical, and Pet Food Processing facilities, as well as offering Emergency Service calls to all local customers in the area. Please understand that pay is based off experience during the interview process. Please also see below for job details/requirements.

PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE

BENEFITS:

Vacation time.

Overtime is paid after 8 hours per day

Hours are based off of 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Saturday is Time and a half

Sunday is Double Time

Sick time.

Paid holidays.

Full health insurance benefits.

401K matching 4%.

$150.00/day Per Diem is offered for anything over 90 miles from the office address.

DESCRIPTION:

We are currently hiring Journeymen Electricians with at minimum 5+ years of experience. The qualities that we would expect a qualified candidate to have are outlined below:

5+ years of industrial or electrical experience

NJ Electrical Journeyman's card (Preferred)

Ability to work with others.

Ability to take direction from peers.

Ability to show up on time every day without delay.

Experience in working in the industrial electric setting. (Preferred)

REQUIREMENTS:

NJ Electrical Journeyman's card (Preferred)

TWIC Card (preferred)

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Ability to read print schematics and basic documents.

Knowledge of Electrical Code.

Bilingual (Preferred)

Willing to Travel to other projects outside of NJ (Preferred)

Valid Drivers License.

Experience in bending various types of conduit efficiently.

Experience with different types of conduit benders.

Ability to layout complex conduit runs.

Rigging and executing wire pulls.

Control system troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing.

Read and follow electrical schematics.

Ability to troubleshoot.

Knowledge of power distribution.

Work closely with and follow the direction of plant engineers.

Ability to work with low voltage controls (Cat6, VFD's, PLC's, etc.).

Flexibility in schedule and ability to work OT.
