Job Title: AV Service Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled AV Service Technician to service audio-visual equipment and systems in various environments, including business/corporate, educational, houses of worship, military, and others. The ideal candidate will have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to:

Custom Control systems: Crestron DM and NVX / AMX

Complex audio-video systems in executive board rooms and conference centers

Video teleconferencing equipment and systems

Audio Visual over IP (AVoIP) networks for audio-visual data over LAN, WAN, and internet

Audio DSP-based systems including amplifiers, speakers, and microphones

Projection display devices and systems

Video wall equipment and systems

Digital signage equipment and systems

RF Systems (analog and digital)

Conduct Preventative Maintenance testing

Perform site surveys related to service agreement quotes

Write concise service reports and system site surveys

Manage multiple service projects successfully

Lead and mentor junior/intermediate level field service technicians

Qualifications:

A two-year diploma from a college or technical school, or equivalent experience

CTS certification highly preferred, or equivalent experience

Minimum of 3 years of field service experience

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Physical ability to stand, kneel, crouch, climb ladders and scaffolding, lift over 50 pounds, and work in various environmental conditions (hot, humid, cold, cramped, high places)

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Leadership and mentoring skills
