Infrastructure (Net/Sys) Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Windows Server environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability

• Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services

• Implement and maintain firewalls, with a preference for Fortinet and SonicWall technologies

• Oversee network load balancing and the configuration of switches and routers

• Manage cloud technologies, including Microsoft 365 and D365 platforms

• Perform regular backups and monitor backup technologies to safeguard critical data

• Support and maintain computer hardware within datacenter environments

• Develop and execute configuration management processes for IT systems

• Ensure network security and connectivity across all infrastructure components• Proven experience of 5+ years in infrastructure engineering within the construction or contractor industry.

• Expertise in backup technologies, ensuring data integrity and recovery processes.

• Strong proficiency in computer hardware and troubleshooting complex systems.

• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools and best practices.

• Comprehensive knowledge of datacenter operations and maintenance.

• Skilled in managing and configuring switch routers for optimal network performance.

• Proficiency in network load balancing to ensure efficient resource distribution.

• Advanced understanding of firewall setup, configuration, and security protocols.

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments.

• Experience with cloud technologies and their integration into infrastructure systems.

• Familiarity with D365 and its implementation in enterprise environments.
