Telecommunication Horizontal Directional Drilling Locator
SRU Electric LLC is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to fill a Telecom Horizontal Drilling Locator role.
Travel is required and must be able to be out of town during the week and periodic weekends. Depending on the crew. When staying out of town our company pays for hotel, and per diem is paid weekly.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Work as a part of a 3–4-man crew
Assisting in all manual labor aspects of the projects directed by the Foreman.
Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.
Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
Load or unload construction materials.
Digs ditches or trenches, backfills excavations, levels pipes. Hand dig using shovel, mechanical tools
Prepare sites for concrete pours
Assist crew members in placing underground pipes, conduits, manual labor and shovel work, operate power tools
Perform various labor tasks and other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Requirements:
Key Requirements:
Valid driver’s license Preferably a Class A license
Can read Blueprints
Can run a mini excavator and other heavy equipment
Can operate a rig
Pulling fiber
Willingness to travel extensively, including out-of-state trips.
Willing to work outdoors year-round
Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in construction
Ability to safely lift and move heavy objects by hand or with equipment.
Can pass a background check and drug test
