Maintenance Helper

Job Description

Duties for this position include:

Assist maintenance technicians with basic repairs and preventive maintenance tasks

Perform general labor duties such as cleaning work areas, organizing tools, and moving materials

Help inspect and maintain facility equipment and systems

Support the installation and removal of equipment, piping, and fixtures

Deliver tools and materials to technicians as needed

Maintain cleanliness and safety in maintenance areas

Follow all plant safety procedures and wear required PPE

Learn and develop skills in electrical, plumbing, welding, and mechanical work

Compensation (USD):

$22.00/hour

Schedule:

Monday - Friday

7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

OT when needed

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

1+ year of experience in a maintenance, construction, or manufacturing environment preferred (but not required)

Willingness to learn and follow instructions

Basic knowledge of hand and power tools

Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (standing, lifting, climbing, etc.)

Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork skills

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
