SALARY RANGE: $150,507 - $223,104 per year
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.)
Responsibilities
Nokia of America Corporation, Software Development Engineer (Multiple Positions), Sunnyvale, CA. Analyze, design, and develop software protocols for 5G/LTE Mobile Gateway, specifically architecture and design of features on the mobile gateways. Use current programming language and technologies to write code. Perform unit testing and submit the code through a version control system. Document the design and implementation of the software program. Collaborate with Product Management team to understand customer requirements and work with various teams to develop, deliver and maintain software of Packet gateways. Debug functional and performance issues reported by the test and customers and implement solutions that scale efficiently. Accountable for quality and accuracy of own output. Responsible for contribution to teamwork. Carry out tasks/activities according to assignment and set guidelines. Demonstrate initiative and adaptability to changing business environments. #LI-DNI
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
Skills required: Programming languages: C, C++, and Python; Design and development using Data Structures and Algorithms, Systems Programming, Multi-threading, Operating Systems, or Object-Oriented Design; Developing cloud-native and appliance-based system software on Linux-based operating systems; Network technologies and protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP, NFS, RPC, and REST; Identify and debug issues in code using debuggers: GDB and Valgrind; and Software and development using Git.
