Pay Range: $75.21 - $80.21 per hour

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software QA Engineer, specializing in iOS, for a remote, 12-month project focusing on the development and maintenance of the clients' iOS Mobile application. This role demands a strategic individual who excels in a fast-paced environment, aiming for excellence in mobile app releases with a focus on new features development and maintenance. Success in this position is measured by the ability to meet testing deadlines, ensure low numbers of critical bugs and regressions in releases, and contribute to the overall quality of the application.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and execute comprehensive black box test plans.

Perform thorough regression, exploratory, and functional testing across various devices and OS versions.

Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and developers to understand requirements and identify edge cases.

Ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Reproduce, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, and advocate for quality at each step of development.

Must-Have Skills:

BS in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 5+ years of experience in mobile QA focusing on iOS app testing.

Experience with iOS UI/UX guidelines, mobile QA methodologies, and test automation tools (XCTest, Appium).

Strong knowledge of black box testing methodologies and excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Preferred Background:

Experience in QA for iOS apps with over 100k active users is a plus.

This role involves a high level of independence and accountability, requiring the candidate to be a fast learner with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
