Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage SAP solutions that meet Purdue’s evolving data and business needs

Ensure seamless integration of SAP systems with enterprise applications, optimizing performance and scalability

Lead SAP implementation and refinement, documenting processes and driving continuous improvement

Advocate for SAP strategies, fostering alignment across departments and external partners

Develop metrics to assess system performance and communicate outcomes to senior leadership

This is a remote position.

What We're Looking For:

Education and Experience Needed:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or closely related field.

Azure, ITIL, SCRUM or other Federal IT relevant certifications preferred.

Minimum four (4) years of experience; experience working with and using big data; knowledge of architectural frameworks and methodologies

Strong knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP BW)

Proven experience in system integration and performance optimization

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered such as demonstrated extensive experience in SAP architecture and implementation or additional industry experience

Preferred:

SAP certification(s) in relevant modules

Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions

Knowledge of industry best practices and standards

Skills Needed:

Disaster Recovery, Identity, and Access Management

Experience with machine learning

Proven knowledge of system architecture

Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF)

Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF)

Subject matter expertise in Oracle and Microsoft SQL

Understanding of FISMA, FedRamp, ATOs

Exceptional including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation

Knowledge of all components of a holistic EA

Familiarity with basic graphical modeling approaches

Excellent:
