Geotechnical Engineer

Krazan & Associates is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer- PE Licensed to join our Clovis, CA office. As a Professional Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting and overseeing our Geotechnical engineering and construction testing & inspection teams. Key Responsibilities:

Perform geotechnical field investigations and construction site observations to assess soil and foundation conditions

Conduct technical reviews of reports, specifications, and construction documents

Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and responses to RFPs/RFQs for new projects

Manage multiple geotechnical projects, ensuring quality control and adherence to deadlines

Oversee and mentor technical staff and field personnel in geotechnical testing and inspecting procedures

Analyze soil and foundation data, preparing comprehensive geotechnical reports for clients and regulatory agencies.

Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to provide expert geological insights

Qualifications:

Education: BS/MS in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering

Certification: PE or EIT certification in CA (PE preferred)

Experience: 5+ years of geotechnical engineering experience

Skills: Strong project management skills and ability to lead multiple assignments

Excellent communication and client management abilities.
