Job Summary

A banquet server's primary duties include providing exceptional customer service by attentively greeting guests, taking accurate orders, delivering food and beverages promptly, addressing any concerns with professionalism, maintaining a clean dining area, and possessing in-depth knowledge of the menu, all while adhering to high standards of etiquette and presentation in a fine dining setting.

Duties

Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements and decorations.

Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.

Ensure all food safety standards are met during preparation and service.

Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the event.

Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to requests and inquiries.

Collaborate with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure smooth event operations.

Handle guest relations with professionalism, addressing any concerns or feedback effectively.

Assist in catering tasks as needed, including food presentation and replenishment of supplies.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards is a plus.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

Experience with coffee preparation is advantageous but not required.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events.
