IT Administrator

Job Description

RCB Fund Services LLC, a securities fraud claims processing center in East Syracuse, NY, is looking for an experienced IT administrator to support day-to-day business operations including servers, workstations, printers, telecommunications, file sharing, networking and security of all systems. Working under the supervision of senior developers and/or managers, you may also be asked to assist in application testing, debugging or other similar issues.

Qualified individuals must be able to multi-task, shift priorities quickly and dynamically adapt to rapid, sometimes unexpected environmental changes. Hours of operation are generally 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, M-F. While weekend or after-hours work is rare, IT staff are expected to be reasonably available outside of regular working hours.

Minimum Experience

Windows Server administration skills including Active Directory, Group Policy management, monitoring, performance tuning, hardware and software upgrades.

Networking administration skills including DHCP, TCP/IP, DNS, and firewall management.

Strong VMware ESXi/vSphere and SAN management experience, including new hardware installation and configuration, VM management.

Assist in documenting, executing and testing proper disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.

Broad understanding of hardware, networking and other IT fundamentals.

Preferred Experience

Familiarity with SOC I and FISMA Compliance standards for Information Security.

WordPress web page design and interface development.

Some Microsoft SQL Server experience is preferred, as there is a component of database administration and maintenance.

General Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience as a technology professional.

Excellent communication, organizational, project management and problem-solving skills.

Experience and expertise within all areas of technology infrastructure including network integration, phone system support, hardware and software security system monitoring, etc.

Remain highly organized while maintaining a sense of urgency when completing tasks.

Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Ability to pass a background check.

This position is 100% in-office supporting a staff of approximately 40 people.Company Description
