POSITION: Librarian (PT) - Regional Summer High School at Bay Shore 2025

ASSIGNMENT: July 1, 2025 – August 14, 2025

QUALIFICATIONS:

· NYS Library Media Specialist/School Media Specialist Certification

· Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Will collaborate with teaching staff and support classroom instruction in all content areas offered in the Regional Summer School Program

· Offers guided lessons with digital resources that are available in the host district’s library media center and equipment when asked to do so

· Promotes and shares free digital resources to both students and staff alike in order for students to conduct essential research needed in their course of study

Registration Days: July 1, 2025 and July 2, 2025

(Registration hours are from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)

Classes held: July 7, 2025 – August 14, 2025 (Monday – Thursday)

(Program hours are from 7:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.)

THESE POSITIONS ARE DEPENDENT UPON STUDENT ENROLLMENT AND DISTRICT COMMITMENT FOR SUMMER SERVICES

START DATE: July 1, 2025

SALARY: $51.90/hour
