Strategic Account Manager Req#1013151

Juniper is looking for sales professionals to develop and close opportunities across a defined list of customers. The candidate will be specific-account focused, and will excel in this dynamic role, while leveraging a team of partner account managers to support growth of their named account list. S/He will be responsible for opportunities which will have been identified either through key partners, been escalated from Inside Sales or part of new customer acquisition activity. S/He will work with partners to break into these accounts by winning deals. The emphasis will be on expanding Juniper's footprint within the accounts by leveraging specific sales plays.

MUST RESIDE IN THE DFW AREA

Primary Responsibilities:

The Strategic Account Manager will work well in a matrixed environment, building a "virtual" team to drive success of their named account list

The Strategic Account Manager will focus on developing the top accounts in the North Texas area, with a plan to penetrate these accounts with partners

This individual will work with marketing, SEs, inside sales, and partner account managers

Create a consistent cadence to driving partner-led demand generation, call campaigns, with strong opportunity management skills

Executive selling skills required, to include various CxOs, IT Management, and other key Decision-Makers and Economic Buyers

Relationship management skills that translate into identifying decision-makers and influencers

Manage opportunities, quota attainment, sales presentations, short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management

Responsible for building 3 Month, 6 Month and 9 Month pipelines

Engage resources, including the BU's to drive sales success

Provide accurate and timely forecasts to sales management

Co-ordinates and lead members of virtual account teams: SEs, Managers, Insides Sales, Channel and Channel Management members, PLM, etc

Reporting line will be through the Regional Sales Director Candidate Required Background:

Minimum 6-8 years experience on networking and network security sales is desirable in addition to a Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred

Referenceable track record of successful sales experience within DFW region

Strong track record of driving sales through channel partners in the Networking and/or Telecommunications industry

Experience developing sales strategies, preparing proposals and quotes and presenting networking products

Broad-based technological awareness in the internetworking industry, complemented by knowledge of data networking concepts, with specific skills in the area of routing and switching

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Strong presenter and closer with the ability to demonstrate the necessary skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners and customers using a Win/Win philosophy

Creative innovator who is a proactive team player, with a proven track record working in matrixed environments

Excellent business acumen

Good relationship building and consultative skills

Ability to prioritize in a dynamic, changing environment

Ability to Travel

Minimum Salary: $195,008.00

Maximum Salary:$280,324.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $195,008.00 and $280,324.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
