Banquet coordinator

Private RV Resort for exceptional 5 star facility in Mesa, AZ.

Working with Chef on catering menus to execute food layout.

Meeting with resident private parties to discuss event requirements and preferences.

Working closely with activities director on layouts and event requirements.

Setting up service lines, chafers, table decor, creating a 5 star serving for multi line service sometimes for up to 1800 guests.

Managing event contracts and ensuring all terms are met.

Logistics and Operations:

Coordinating with kitchen staff to plan menus, catering, and beverage service. Multiple events in one day on occasion

Scheduling and managing event staff, including servers, bartenders, and event staff.

Overseeing event setup and breakdown, coordinator with tables and chairs.

Managing a staff of 2 and temporary workers up to 15 at times.

Communication and Coordination:

Serving as a point of contact for clients and vendors throughout the event planning process.

Communicating with staff to ensure smooth event execution.

Ensuring all event details are accurate and distributed to the relevant departments.

Acting as a liaison between different departments to resolve any issues.

Other Responsibilities:

Providing excellent customer service to residents

and event attendees.

Managing event logistics, including room setup, timelines, and vendor coordination.

Following up on event arrangements to ensure all details are met.

Preparing reports and documentation related to events.

Creating catering contracts, food signage, tent cards.
