Senior QA Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to lead our quality assurance efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced quality assurance strategies, overseeing the creation of automated tests, and ensuring the overall quality of our .NET applications. Working 0closely with the development team and other QA Engineers, the ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, including experience with .NET technologies and Azure DevOps Test Plan management.

Key Responsibilities:

QA Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies that encompass automated and manual testing methodologies to ensure the highest quality of software products.

Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using a variety of tools and frameworks, ensuring compatibility with .NET applications.

Azure DevOps Test Plan Management: Utilize Azure DevOps to manage test plans effectively, optimizing our CI/CD pipelines for quality and efficiency.

Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the development and product teams to understand application functionalities, ensuring that tests are relevant and comprehensive.

Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects efficiently, collaborating with developers for timely resolutions.

Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing, simulating various scenarios to ensure application robustness and scalability.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest developments in software testing, .NET technologies, and Azure DevOps, implementing best practices for continuous enhancement of QA processes.

Reporting and Documentation: Create detailed QA reports, maintain documentation of testing processes, and manage defect tracking for future reference and compliance.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Senior QA Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on .NET applications.

In-depth knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks suitable for .NET applications.

Familiarity with Azure DevOps, particularly with managing and executing test plans.

Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a QA engineering role, with substantial focus on automation and .NET applications.

Nice to Have:

Experience with other CI/CD tools and platforms.

Knowledge of containerization and cloud integrations in a testing context.

Certifications related to software testing or .NET technologies.
