Job Description

We are in the process of expanding our team with a Mobile Developer (iOS, Android) III (Contractor) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role involves collaborating with various teams within the organization, developing features for our existing products, and creating new iOS or Android apps. This offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in the design of new software and web applications, tailoring current applications as needed.

• Actively participate in all phases of the software development cycle, from product specification and design to implementation, QA, and release.

• Monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products, and stay updated with literature and current practices relevant to project solutions.

• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure applications meet specifications and technical requirements.

• Contribute to the software update process for existing applications and participate in the roll-out of software releases.

• Develop high-quality code that adheres to best practices.

• Leverage your experience in creating native mobile applications for either iOS or Android across all device sizes and multiple OS versions using native tools.

• Utilize JavaScript frameworks including jQuery Mobile, Node, and Angular in your work.

• Handle data loading operations and video operations and playback.

• Apply your knowledge of ASP.Net, HTML, JSON, XML, Agile/Scrum, and TDD in your daily tasks.

• Promote agile software processes, data-driven development, reliability, and responsible experimentation.• Proficient in mobile application development, specifically in iOS and Android platforms

• Proven experience in Operations, Design, and Implementation of mobile applications

• Strong Engineering skills with an emphasis on mobile technologies

• Familiarity with HTML, Java, and C - All Versions

• Knowledge of video technologies as they pertain to mobile platforms

• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies in a software development setting

• Ability to ensure Quality Assurance and adherence to Best Practices in mobile development

• Experience with Specification and Web App development

• Degree in Computer Sciences or a related field

• Expertise in XML Technologies for mobile platforms

• Familiarity with wireless technologies relevant to mobile development

• Proficiency in GIT version control system

• Excellent grasp of Literature relevant to mobile development

• Strong background in Software Development, specifically mobile applications

• Proficiency in ASP.NET and JSON

• No prior work restrictions as a contractor.
