Job Title: Warehouse Lead

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all activities. This role acts as a liaison between warehouse staff and management, helping coordinate schedules, enforce company policies, and drive productivity while maintaining a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise warehouse associates in daily tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
Ensure all operations are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and support to team members.
Monitor workflow and assign tasks to optimize team productivity and meet deadlines.
Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits and reconciliation.
Report discrepancies, damaged goods, and safety concerns to management.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor.
Collaborate with management to identify process improvements and implement best practices.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree a plus.
2+ years of warehouse experience, including 1+ year in a leadership or supervisory role.
Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, WMS/ERP systems).
Understanding of inventory management and shipping/receiving procedures.
