Job Description
We are in search of an ERP Support Specialist to join our team located in HAUPPAUGE, New York. This role primarily involves managing, configuring, and implementing our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly focusing on inventory management, finance, and supply chain. In addition, the role includes providing comprehensive technical support across the organization and managing daily help desk operations.
Responsibilities:
• Implementing, maintaining, and supporting ERP systems to meet the needs of the business
• Aligning ERP solutions with effective business processes in inventory, finance, and supply chain by collaborating with different business units
• Assisting with technical issues and queries related to computer systems, software, and hardware
• Troubleshooting hardware/software issues, including computer and printer related problems
• Prioritizing daily support tasks independently and effectively
• Updating and modifying software applications and operating systems
• Documenting configurations, support procedures, and system changes accurately
• Providing high-quality, timely technical support and guidance to employees across the organization
• Contributing technical expertise to IT-related projects as needed, ensuring smooth execution.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as an ERP Support Specialist
• Proficiency in Epicor ERP and other ERP solutions
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Windows 11
• Proficient with Excel and the full Office 365 suite
• Experience in computer imaging
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve ERP related issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Understanding of business processes and how they relate to ERP functionality.
