Purchasing Manager

Job Description

Review and submit purchase orders; ensure existing orders are delivered on time by monitoring all open orders and contacting vendors as needed; act as a liaison between customer service and vendors.

Manager supply base to maximize performance in Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

Establish methodology to strategically select, manage and evaluate suppliers.

Develop vendor network and relationships, ability to gather market intelligence and benchmark.

Manage import processes and freight forwarders.

Maintain accurate data within ERP.

Establish standards to improve business practices and scalability. Evaluation and improvement of existing standards and practices.

Interface with Engineering, Accounting, Quality, and Distribution teams when required.Company Description
