Job Title: Inspection Engineer - API 510/570

Role Purpose Statement:

Responsibilities for quality inspection equipment, products, & safety inspections to determine their conformity with reference standards, specifications, & regulations.

Role Statement The job incumbent is responsible for API Inspector/Inspection Engineer. He performs the job in the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, the Code of Ethics, and the BV Group policies.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Plan the job with the operations manager after the award of the PO.

Complete the job as per scope of work.

Nominate and monitor the NDT team for the site and during site execution.

Verify the NDT equipment is working properly.

Perform inspection of pressure piping, pressure vessels, and storage tanks.

Ensure that report is submitted as per the deadline given by the client.

Review of inspection reports.

Evaluation of NDT results as per relevant code.

Report preparation according to API and client requirements.

Coordinate with clients before and after starting execution.

Comply with HSE requirements of BV and site for self and team.

Daily progress as per client requirement.

Ensure completion of necessary documentation for smooth invoicing.

Should possess marketing skills.

EDUCTION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Must be an engineer (Mechanical, Metallurgical, Chemical, petroleum).

Must have post certification min. 5 years of experience after API 510/570 certification.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

Good organizer and record-keeping.

Discipline and strong interpersonal relationships.

Basic use of computers and Microsoft Office tools.

Excellent English and local language skills are desirable.
