Collections/Billing Coordinator

Come join our growing team at Watermark Home Services, our Accounting Department is growing and we are searching for a Collections/Billing Coordinator. Watermark Home Services is Ohio's largest conglomerate of Plumbing, Drain, Heating & Cooling, and Electrical companies.

The Collections/Billing Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring accurate invoicing, timely payment processing, and proactive collections. This hybrid role will work with both internal teams and external customers to resolve billing issues and maintain healthy accounts receivable.

Responsibilities include:

Monitor/follow up on outstanding accounts and communicate with customers to resolve unpaid invoices

Process and send daily invoices via mail and email

Support billing processes through online customer portals

Build strong relationships with customers' Accounts Payable departments

Maintain detailed records of collection activity and AR status

Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant laws, recommend accounts for legal action when necessary

Assist with reporting, audits, and other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

High school diploma or GED

2+ years of experience in collections or accounts receivable

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

$19.00-22.00 per hour
