Position: BIM/VDC Manager
Reports to: VDC Program Manager
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Pay Range: $45 - $58 per hour

The Superior Group is looking for a highly-motivated and organized BIM Manager to join our fast-paced team. This position will be responsible for leading the BIM modeling team and BIM modeling process. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities
Prepares 3D models of electrical building systems in Revit
Prepares 2D field installation and fabrication drawings from 3D model
Effectively provides utilization data on the BIM team to Department leaders
Leads and supports the BIM modeling team on multiple projects
Develops and implements BIM workflow, task management and technical content
Manages software for BIM team, including installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting all BIM installations as well as analyzing and solving BIM user issues
Supports each project by managing and creating content library files and templates, creating and enforcing standards, and evaluating project models
Sets up Revit projects assigned to team and creates Revit families needed for assigned projects
Sets up Navisworks models for projects assigned to team
Sets up, runs, manages clash detection/BIM coordination for projects assigned to team, and leads BIM coordination process with GC’s
Attends meetings for developing standards, discussing software options, and addressing issues other team members have encountered
Reviews layouts, models, shop and installation drawings

Your Expertise
You have 5+ years experience in 3D BIM/VDC Modeling using Revit
You have 5+ years experience in Construction/MEP background
You have 5+ years experience in BIM coordination using Navisworks or other similar software
You have 2+ years experience in managing teams
