Job Description

SUMMARY

This position is under the direct supervision of the HANOPD Lieutenant – Administration and Lead Security Officer. This position is responsible for the protection, safeguarding and security of Fischer Senior Village residential site grounds, residents, staff, and all visitors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities, duties and/or skills required. Other duties may be assigned.

Patrols Authority property and surrounding areas as assigned by vehicle, bicycle, or on foot to deter, locate and apprehend persons committing crimes or unlawful activities.

Reprimands, detains, cites, and/or arrests members of the public; transports to medical facilities or books into jail. Performs security patrols and/or monitors activity by foot or by golf cart.

Enforces proper site access/entry procedures.

Protects property from theft and accidents.

Investigates, writes reports, and reports accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards and other security related situations that occur at the residential site to supervisor and property authorities.

Provides any needed assistance to residents, employees and visitors following the residential site procedures.

Performs other related duties as assigned
