This position is primarily responsible for quality standard adherence, quality tracking & reporting policy & procedure adherence, P6 schedule development & maintenance, and cost/resource tracking & reporting.
Responsibilities
Ability to read and analyze project plans and specifications
Review contract requirements and adhere to QA/QC programs and project quality standards
Daily tracking of construction activities and reporting to ensure quality standards are enforced and maintained
Ability to develop, update, and maintain Level II, III and IV schedules in Primavera
Develop and maintain critical path studies, 3-week look ahead schedules and resource loaded schedules
Develop and maintain As-Built drawings and document all changes including saving and preserving all related correspondence related to changes
Ability to create cost and resource analysis curves with strong cost reporting skills and techniques
Ability to create reports, graphs and analytical data to support the quality program including daily, weekly and monthly quality reporting
Review cost and operations reports to assist Project Manager in job costing
Facilitate discussions with project management regarding quality issues and schedule forecasts
Understand, identify, and report on project trends and their relationship to the quality program and project schedule
Create procurement tracking spreadsheets with quantity curves
Create material receipt spreadsheets for both on-site and off-site laydown areas to ensure quality compliance
Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management
Qualifications
Valid Driver’s License required
Four-year college degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar discipline required
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in project controls
Construction industry experience required
Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Power Point, and Outlook required
PMP certificate preferred
Specialized construction management training and project management training preferred
Work Environment & Conditions
Position requires working in an office and field setting, requiring 8+ hours per day of sitting, walking, and standing. Occasional lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, balancing
Ability to work additional hours and/or weekends when required
Some overnight travel to jobsites may be required
