Data Center Technician / Installer

About the Role

We are currently hiring multiple Data Center Technicians/ Installers to focus on infrastructure installations within the Data Center environment.

Project Length is 6 MONTHS

Specific Responsibilities

Installation of cabling and rack infrastructure builds and assignments

Strong background performing large scale data center projects.

Little to no experience working within data center environments.

Responsible for performing work associated to project.

Directed by the lead on site to perform basic cabling procedures.

Directed by the lead to unload, unpack, and move material.

Mechanically inclined

Willingness to learn, grow, and be directed by leadership onsite

Completes project delivery by due date specified

Supports both new deployment and live site/production requests

Unload, unpack, and move equipment as necessary

Rack and stack network equipment

Strong theoretical and practical skills in cabling disciplines

Strong background in leading teams in commercial style projects.

Oversee assigned projects and performance of technicians assigned

Lead installs to completion

Validates material required to complete the build project

Coordinate and plan with teams, request material for installs supported by logistics

Required Qualifications

Open to work mandatory overtime Monday-Friday 7am-5:30pm and Saturday’s 7am-3:30pm

Willing to commit to project until completion

Willing to submit to a background check
