Windows SCCM Engineer

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Windows Systems Engineer position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What You'll Be Doing:

Oversee the daily operations of SCCM and Intune, including software deployments, patching, compliance policies, and reporting.

Develop and maintain Windows desktop standards, configurations, and policies to ensure secure and optimized endpoint management.

Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate tasks, streamline operations, and enhance endpoint security.

Implement security policies, authentication standards, and conditional access rules for device compliance.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network configurations to optimize performance.

Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Support teams to ensure smooth operations and prompt issue resolution.

Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and internal knowledge base articles.

Lead and contribute to mid- to large-scale IT projects focused on endpoint management and security enhancements.

What You'll Need to Have:

Deep understanding of Windows desktop operating systems and deployment strategies.

Strong hands-on experience with SCCM and Intune in enterprise environments.

Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and endpoint security.

Solid knowledge of endpoint security concepts, authentication policies, and device compliance standards.

Experience with hardware/software management and performance optimization.

Familiarity with automation tools and best practices in managing enterprise devices.

Excellent troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network layers.

Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Experience leading or contributing to IT projects focused on end-user computing improvements.

Pay Range: $68-$83/hr +
