Job Description:
As an OR RN, you'll provide specialized care before, during, and after surgical procedures. You'll ensure surgical environments are sterile, patients are properly prepped, and surgical teams have the support they need for successful operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in surgical procedures as a scrub or circulating nurse
Prepare and maintain a sterile operating environment
Monitor patients during surgery and respond to any emergencies
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs
Document all intraoperative care and maintain accurate records
Ensure equipment and instruments are properly sterilized and available
Requirements:
Active RN license (Compact license preferred)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
CNOR certification preferred
Minimum 1-2 years of recent Operating Room experience
Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical safety protocols
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly in fast-paced settings
