As Head of Process, Tools & Compensation, you’ll lead a global team responsible for continuously improving our HR systems and delivering robust processes, policies, and practices that bring TGS' HR strategy to life—locally and globally.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Build strategic, long-term partnerships with internal clients and deliver services across all business units.
Lead the global Process, Tools, and Compensation & Benefits team to improve systems, ensure compliance, and implement strong, consistent HR processes.
Oversee global compensation and benefits programs—from competitive benchmarking and internal impact analysis to cost modeling and implementation.
Manage the global payroll function with a focus on consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Maintain and enhance systems that support all global HR processes and ensure smooth integration with our HRIS.
Develop a high-performing, diverse global team of payroll and systems professionals, closely aligned with the wider People & Culture organization.
Ensure our systems and tools support effective, scalable People & Culture operations worldwide.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in HR or client-facing business roles with deep exposure to compensation, benefits, retention, business partnership, leadership development, culture transformation, and/or change management.
Proven experience managing international teams.

Innovation: Comfortable challenging the status quo, improving existing systems, and introducing smart, scalable solutions.
Analytics: Brings strong financial insight and analytical skills to support informed decision-making.
Knowledge & Experience: Strong technical understanding of HRIS, payroll, and benefits systems—especially implementation, configuration, and issue resolution.
This position will be based out of our Oslo or Houston office location.
