Welding Foreman
We are actively looking for an experience Welding Foreman to join our growing team! As the Welding Foreman you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves supervising a team of welders and fabricators, delegating tasks, and monitoring workflow efficiency while also working hands-on with the team. The Foreman must ensure all work adheres to blueprints, specifications, and safety regulations while maintaining productivity and minimizing downtime. Additionally, they are responsible for equipment maintenance, inventory management, and enforcing workplace safety protocols in compliance with OSHA and industry standards.

Responsibilities for the Welding Foreman:
Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the shop
Assign tasks and responsibilities to shop personnel
Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of materials and supplies
Collaborate with project managers to plan and schedule work orders
Review blueprints and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with codes and standards
Fabricate, assemble, and install various products.
Design and fabricate jigs and fixtures for mass producing parts
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets established standards
Operate a variety of tools and equipment, including welding, hand tools, press, benders, mill drill and other machines.
Requirements of the Welding Foreman:
3-5+ years of Supervisory experience in a production or fabrication setting
Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, including MIG Welding and plasma cutting.
Great at designing and building production jigs
Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting technical specifications.
Familiarity with codes and standards related to fabrication work.
Assure a safe shop operation by implementing safety protocols.
Ability to operate various tools and equipment used in fabrication processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
Ability to effectively communicate with team members, project managers, and clients.
