Full time work to start mid-May. FA experience a plus.. Must have ophthalmology experience and speaks Spanish. Provide telephone support, answer patient care questions, and pharmacy refills as directed by physician. Very good communication skills necessary to communicate with patients, staff, office manager, and doctors. Health, dental, 6 federal holidays and 5 sick days plus and 5 PTO days.

Hours are Mon, Wed, Fri 8:00-5:30, Thurs 8:00-2:00.

More experience $25+ Provide ophthalmic assistance to physician, Perform an extensive number of data collection functions. Inform patients of the purpose of all tests, and complete ocular and medical history. Perform accurate and consistent documentation and measurement tasks to include: Visual Acuity, evaluation of Motility, Pupillary Function Tests, IOP check (by Tonopen and Applanation), Retina photos

Proficient in setting up and assisting physician in laser treatments as well as proper documentation in EMR. Proficient in EMR and a working knowledge of Nextech. Prepares and maintains exam rooms. Tech Calls: Provide telephone support, answer patient care questions, and pharmacy refills as directed by physician.
