Hours: Monday thru Friday 8:30am-5pm

Pay rate: $30/hr Position Summary

Our client, a medical device services firm in Dover, NJ is on the lookout for a dynamic and detail-oriented Process Engineer to lead the cross-departmental implementation of our new ERP system. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this individual will be responsible for mapping, analyzing, and optimizing processes across Accounting, Customer Service (CS), Shipping & Receiving (SR), and other functional areas.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process engineering and cross-functional project management, with experience in ERP systems and continuous improvement in a regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Implementation

Serve as the primary operations lead for ERP rollout.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed functional and operational requirements.

Translate business needs into ERP system workflows and configurations.

Partner with the IT team and vendors to ensure timely and successful implementation.

Process Mapping & Optimization

Conduct thorough mapping of current processes across departments (Accounting, CS, SR).

Identify inefficiencies and recommend streamlined workflows aligned with ERP capabilities.

Drive standardization and documentation of processes.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Facilitate workshops and meetings with department leaders to ensure alignment and engagement.

Act as a liaison between operational teams and technical stakeholders.

Provide training and support for users adapting to new processes and tools.

Change Management

Support adoption through change management initiatives, including communication, education, and hands-on support.

Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials.

Continuous Improvement

Analyze performance metrics and ERP data to recommend improvements post-go-live.

Establish mechanisms for ongoing feedback and iteration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Process Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

3-7 years of experience in process engineering, operations, or ERP-related roles.

Prior experience with ERP implementation (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor, etc.).

Experience in the medical device or other regulated manufacturing industries preferred.

Strong understanding of cross-functional business processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory management).

Proficient in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and project management tools.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement certification is a plus.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $30.00 - $35.00 Per Hour
