Job Description

Job Title: MRI Technologist

Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30), including every 3rd weekend; holidays as assigned

Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required; travelers with 1.5 years of strong Level I/large hospital experience will be considered

License: ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board

Certifications: BLS Certification

Must-Have: Experience with Siemens scanners, cardiac experience is a major plus, experience with IV starts strongly preferred

Job Description:

- Perform neuro, musculoskeletal, and abdominal scans using (2) 1.5T Siemens Aera scanners.

- Conduct specialty exams such as breast, enterography, and scans on patients with pacemakers.

- Regular scanning of ICU patients.

- Operate MRI safe equipment, including ventilators, IVAC, and monitoring equipment.

- Contribute to a collaborative team environment and provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced setting.

- Use EPIC EMR for documentation and patient records.

- Wear charcoal grey scrubs as part of the uniform policy.
