Title: Country Regulatory Affairs Lead
Location: Ankara
QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
1. To lead the country registration team by providing clear targets, responsibilities and support; to be an active member of the country management team and the regional registration group,
2. To manage the country registration process: to prepare registration files, to ensure timely submissions, to follow up applications to meet registration timelines and targets,
3. To maintain office archives and keep company databases up to date,
4. To manage the registration project timeline and external payment cost planning in relevant systems,
5. To support Supply Chain processes by managing the preparation of product labels and import permits,
6. To ensure effective communication with authorities, regulators, stakeholders related to registration and actively represent the interests of the company in relevant meetings (Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Health, Institutes, Committees, Associations, etc.),
7. To monitor developments within the legal framework, identify opportunities, threats and potential impacts on product registration, develop action plans and timelines, and regularly update the management team,
8. To develop, implement and monitor country product stewardship plans.
9. To take responsibility for label content in compliance with branding guidelines and local regulations.
10. To support BASF's advocacy activities.
Qualifications;
• At least 7 years of experience in licensing in either public or private sector
• Leadership experience,
• Ability to work in a multicultural department/environment
• Experience in process organization and data management
• Ability to establish good and effective relationships with stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing
Technical Competencies:
• University Degree (preferably Agricultural Engineer)
• Foreign Language: English (good and above)
• Local Language (Turkish)
• Team Management
• MS Office, Windows, Outlook, Teams usage, ability to adapt to emerging digital systems.
