Mobile Phlebotomist

We are a rapidly growing clinical laboratory seeking a reliable and experienced phlebotomist who takes pride in their work and is passionate about patient care. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of phlebotomy experience with at least 6 months of experience in geriatric or difficult blood draws. The mobile phlebotomist will drive the course of a predetermined route or as assigned to draw blood from elderly or compromised patients in a variety of settings.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Traveling to assigned location(s) to collect patient samples

Properly verify patient identity and label specimens appropriately

Process specimens and prepare for transport to the laboratory

With strong attention to detail completely, and accurately complete all logs and documentation prior to end of shift

Follow all company policies, infection control, OSHA & HIPPA guidelines

Candidate must have:

Open availability and be able to start working as early as 1200 am

Clean background & MVR

Driver's License & Vehicle insurance

Reliable transportation and smart phone

Positive attitude and problem-solving skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize

Strong attention to detail

Superior bedside manner

Ability to pass drug screen
