Job Summary:

The Cloud Solutions Architect will serve as a senior leader in designing and implementing advanced cloud-based solutions. This role involves guiding migrations, transitions, and deployments to cloud platforms while providing technical oversight and direction to teams of architects and consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather requirements and design cloud-based system deployments and transitions

Architect and plan migrations to cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Provide technical leadership or serve in a supervisory role on a team of architects

Design scalable systems and plan lift-and-shift strategies and data migrations

Select appropriate cloud services and ensure seamless integration across platforms

Estimate costs and optimize cloud resource utilization

Provide technical oversight and guidance to Cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS consultants

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Master’s degree with 10+ years OR Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of professional experience in a quantitative field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, IS)

Agile Developer Certification or Certified Scrum Developer Certification

Strong experience in software research, design, and development, including network and utility programs

Proven application of programming concepts and modern software development methodologies

Hands-on experience with cloud architecture design and cloud migration planning (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Prior experience in a technical lead or supervisory role within cloud architecture teams

Expertise in designing scalable cloud systems, including lift-and-shift strategies and data migration

Ability to perform cost estimation and select appropriate cloud services

Technical oversight experience across Cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments
