Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and reliable dump truck driver to join our team. Hours will be 20-30 hours a week . The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting materials such as sand, gravel, and rocks to and from construction sites in a safe and efficient manner, and will also be capable of loading materials using a payloader.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a dump truck to safely transport materials to and from construction sites.

Capable of loading your own truck with a payloader

Perform daily inspections of the vehicle to ensure that it is in good working condition.

Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving the vehicle.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, contractors, and other members of the team.

Qualifications:

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.

Experience operating a payloader to load materials onto a dump truck.

Experience operating a dump truck or similar heavy equipment.

Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong time management and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit and drive for extended periods of time.

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds.

Ability to climb in and out of the vehicle and navigate rough terrain.
