Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Cook/Cashier to join our team. This dual-role position is responsible for preparing and cooking food items in accordance with company standards, while also handling customer transactions at the register. The ideal candidate has strong multitasking skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
As a Cook:
Prepare and cook food according to standardized recipes and safety guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food prep areas
Monitor food quality and freshness
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
Assist with inventory and restocking supplies
As a Cashier:
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
Accurately process customer transactions using the cash register or POS system
Handle cash, credit, and mobile payments
Assist customers with questions and menu choices
Maintain cleanliness of the front counter and dining area
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Previous experience in food service or customer service (preferred)
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Basic math and communication skills
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
