Appliance Delivery and Installer (Driver)

Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking experienced Driver to perform Appliance Delivery and Installation come join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a two-man crew. The Driver must be capable of operating a 26ft box truck, and must pass a background check.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect all appliances to ensure they are damage-free.

• Install household appliances (primarily electric, with a small percentage of gas) including stoves, washers, dryers, refrigerators, etc.

• Ensure proper installation according to the manufacturer’s specifications and verify that appliances are fully functional.

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

• Interact professionally and courteously with customers.

• Employees must provide their own tools.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in Appliance Delivery and Installation.

• At least 6 months of customer service experience.

• At least 6 months of experience driving a 26ft box truck and operating a lift gate.

• Familiarity with maintenance tools, equipment, and moving dollies.

• Ability to move and lift heavy appliances (75 - 300 lbs. with the assistance of moving tools).

• Driver-specific requirements:

o Pass a background and drug check.

o Possess a valid state-issued driver’s license (NO CDL required).

o Maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record for the past 3 years.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Location: Truck dock location in Denton, Texas.

Schedule: Sunday through Saturday, 6 days per week including weekends

Shift: Start at 6:00 AM; Shift duration: 8 - 10 hours (experienced teams average 8 hours per day)
