Job Description:

Canyon County Paramedics, a leader in providing high-quality 911 ground emergency medical services, is seeking dedicated, skilled, and compassionate paramedics to join our team. As a paramedic with Canyon County Paramedics, you will provide advanced pre-hospital emergency care to patients in urgent and emergency situations. You will be an integral part of a dynamic team that is committed to saving lives and providing outstanding care in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide advanced pre-hospital emergency care, including assessing and stabilizing patients, administering medications, and performing advanced medical procedures.

Respond to emergency calls and transport patients to medical facilities as needed.

Communicate effectively with other emergency responders, medical personnel, and hospital staff.

Complete accurate patient care reports and maintain necessary documentation.

Monitor and maintain medical equipment and ensure all vehicles are fully equipped.

Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure safe, effective patient care.

Educate patients and the public on medical care and safety.

Qualifications:

Current and valid Paramedic licensure with the State of Idaho or hold NREMT certification at the Paramedic level.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Ability to remain calm and think critically in emergency situations.

Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.

Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical ability to perform required job duties

Paramedic starting salary is $55,855.09 per year based on a 48-hour work week

Canyon County Paramedics (CCP) provides pre-hospital 911 Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances in Canyon County, Idaho. We operate ambulances out of 5 stations in Nampa, 2 in Caldwell, 1 in Middleton, an ALS quick response unit in Wilder, and one 24-hour Battalion Chief to supervise field operations.

Full-time
