Full time Licensed Social Worker or Counselor

PsychPros is currently recruiting for full time therapists in the Columbus, OH area.

We are partnering with a well respected agency that specialized in behavioral health care and substance abuse issues.

Summary of what we're looking for:

-Comprehensive assessment of persons whose lives are disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbances, substance abuse issues or inability to function or maintain in the community.

-Assists law enforcement, family members and others with the admission process, both voluntary and emergency detentions.

-Makes referrals to community resources as appropriate.

-Assigns persons in need of treatment to the appropriate outpatient program and coordinates inpatient admissions through the medical staff. -Function as a member of the multidisciplinary team and participate in the organizationâ s community relations program.

-Participates in continuous quality improvement activities.

Requirements include:

-Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work

-LSW, LISW, LPC or LPCC

-2 years of experience in social service

Preferred:

-Independent Licensure

-CPR Certification

-Experience doing assessments and evaluations
