CNC Machinist

Job Description

HiFyve is hiring a CNC Machinist in the Heavy Machinery Manufacturing industry in Riverside, Missouri!

Salary: $26.25 - $36.75 per hour

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM 4:30 AM (3-day weekend!)

Location: Riverside, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Perform all machine operating duties on large horizontal mills

Review technical drawings and blueprints for machining

Program and edit CNC machines

Set up material and tooling with minimal supervision

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Work independently and manage time effectively

Perform setups using 3-point methods and set parts in a relaxed state

Inspect work using micrometers and calipers

Operate with both older Fanuc 18M and newer 30iB controls

Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Technical training or certifications in CNC machining (preferred)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Experience with CNC machining and horizontal mills

Proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings

Ability to read ID/OD micrometers and calipers

Strong understanding of fundamental machining and workpiece setup

Familiarity with Fanuc 18M and 30iB controls

Self-motivated and capable of working independently

Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 30 lbs

Ability to safely navigate shop environments, including climbing, stooping, and carrying materials

Must be eligible to work under ITAR requirements (U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident)
