Electronics Test Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Test Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electronic circuit boards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of low voltage systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read schematics. The Electronics Test Technician will support and perform qualification testing of electronic products to ensure product reliability and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Ability to test, troubleshoot and repair circuits using testing equipment.

• Monitors and manage all equipment and tool calibrations.

• Diagnose and repair electronic control boards using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.

• Read and interpret schematics.

• Proficiency in electromechanical assembly and hand soldering and is capable of conducting electronic product testing.

• Interface with engineers for prototypes, samples and further product development.

• Responsible for the disposition and repair of service returns. Offer technical support to clients by resolving issues and completing all service repair requests promptly.

• Collaborate with others to assist manufacturing with the development, improvement and implementation of production methods.

• Thorough understanding of digital and analog circuitry

• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment status.

• Capability to independently manage lab workflow to meet due dates.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or associate’s degree in Electronics Design or Manufacturing.

• Proven experience as an Electronic Test Technician or similar role is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and electronic components.

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.

• Ability to read and understand schematics.

• Mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment repair tasks.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills

Hours: M-Th (7AM-4PM), Fri (7AM-12:30 PM)
