Description:

This position is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting the FlowMaster inserter machines, which are used to produce large volumes of direct mail pieces. They set up the machines, ensure they operate efficiently, and address any issues that arise during production.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating the FlowMaster machine which involves setting up the machine according to specific job requirements, loading materials, and adjusting settings to achieve optimal performance.

Maintaining the FlowMaster machine by performing routine maintenance checks, troubleshooting malfunctions, and making necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure the machine remains in good working order.

Ensuring quality output by monitoring the production process, identifying and addressing any issues that may affect the quality of the finished product, and ensuring that the output meets required standards.

Adhering to safety regulations by following all safety procedures, operating the machine in a safe manner, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Handling mail which involves sorting, processing, or preparing mail for insertion into envelopes. Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent, related experience.

Prior experience operating and maintaining FlowMaster machines is highly desirable.

Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment can be beneficial.

The ability to understand and troubleshoot mechanical issues is important.

The ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively is essential.

The ability to focus on detail and ensure that the finished product meets quality standards is crucial.

Must be able to read work orders & follow instructions.

Able to perform basic math calculations.

Able to communicate clearly both verbally & in writing.

Basic computer and mechanical skills are required.

Regularly lift & carry up to 5-35 lbs.

Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and grasping.
