SUMMARY: Responsible for managing the lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring compliance with regulations, internal policies, and procedures.– under minimal to no supervision.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage IT assets, overseeing the entire lifecycle of IT assets, including selection, operation, refresh, migration, optimization, and disposal.

Ensure all asset management activities comply with regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

Ensure all software, contracts, and licensing follow Crowley’s process and provide best practices to consolidate and optimize cost savings.

Maintain and update key ITAM data structures, such as entitlements, deployments, catalogs, and financial allocations.

Ensure software entitlements, ensure accurate data normalization, and optimize software usage Consider the organization's risk appetite and culture in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Establishes relationships among key stakeholders and acts as a liaison during the design, management and implementation of process changes.

Partners with functional and strategic areas to establish and maintain a unified approach to implementing change. Leads large scale, complex projects and oversees less complex projects, under minimal to no supervision.

PEOPLE MANAGER: N

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field; or certification in ITAM plus equivalent years of experience.

EXPERIENCE: 10+ years of experience as a business partner developing and delivering solutions. Proven experience in IT asset management, preferably in a senior or similar role.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient with Microsoft Office products. Proficiency in ITAM tools and asset management software. Strong ability to analyze and optimize IT asset lifecycle, software, application contracts, licensing best practice and cost analysis. Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to IT asset management. • ITAM Certifications such as; Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) or Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM).

Ability to effectively manage, deliver and coordinate projects across multiple organizations that may vary in nature and scope while applying project management methodology. Ability to make recommendations on issues that affect the direction of business processes and/or overall strategy. Ability to proactively identify and manage situations requiring complex communication for internal and/or external audiences to achieve consensus and collaboration. Knowledge of various business systems in the marketplace as it relates to the industry and/or domain and able to demonstrate and apply operational standards, best practices and align it with organizational strategic objectives. Knowledge of business architecture to evaluate options and/or implement solutions to support decisions to the process. Knowledge of and ability to apply the concepts, principles and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Knowledge of standard programming languages, concepts, practices, and procedures within the technology field. Knowledge of and the ability to understand integration needs and configure third party applications. Knowledge of and the ability to utilize tools, concepts, principles, and practices of data collection, analysis and testing.

JOB SCOPE: Position impacts multiple business units/segments.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. Extended use of a computer keyboard, viewing of a computer monitor and the ability to sit for long periods of time.

FLSA STATUS: The position is Exempt. May require the ability to work overtime to meet required deadlines. All work rules, including those that pertain to safety and health, are expected to be respected.
