The Work:
This position is located at Eglin AFB, FL and will support F-35 security operations. Due to the dynamic environment, the incumbent may be required support either first, second or third shift operations to include weekends as required. Some travel may be required. Due to local mission requirements, a Top Secret/SCI clearance will be required.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day site security operations including but not limited to:
Perform duties as a Security Generalist and will be responsible for security support of classified and unclassified areas of the F-35 Integrated Training Center (ITC) and / or F-35 Fighter Squadrons. Duties will include, but are not limited to: developing and implementing local facility operating procedures (FOP); manage physical security policy and procedures for SAPF certification / accreditation and prepare Fixed Facility checklist IAW ICD 705; support contingency planning during emergencies; maintain facility records, access control and badge issue/accountability; perform and document vault alarm response/testing of Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), perform self-inspections and prepares for customer inspections; assist in security investigations; perform random searches; enforce all USAF and local security procedures and practices including controlling access to secure facilities, handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media; monitoring compliance with COMSEC and COMPUSEC (act as COMSEC / SVRO Custodian as needed); provide assistance with file plans and documentation maintenance in classified containers; change combinations and generate SF 700s; provide training as needed; escort un-cleared personnel within classified areas. Security Generalists will be hired to support either first, second or third shift operations to include weekends as the need arises. While assigned shifts should be stable, applicants may be required to change shifts, if necessary, to support mission requirements.
US citizenship required as most programs and projects assigned are ITAR restricted.
Who we are:
The program is eager for program security professionals. In support of our US Air Force customers, members of the team are responsible for providing all aspects of security support services such as, Physical Security (PHYSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC) Collateral Security, Security Education and Training (SETA), Access Control, Media Control, Construction Security Management, and Squadron deployment support.
On occasion, incumbents may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift and a non-standard work schedule that differ from their primary shift being hired for.
Basic Qualifications

1. Experience providing oversight to multi-functions of security.
2. Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation within 5 years from the investigation Closed date or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
3. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs).
4. Excellent written and verbal skills.
5. Industrial and/or military security experience.
6. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products.
7. Ability to establish and maintain professional and productive relationships with internal and external customers.
Desired skills

1.) Experience working on the F-35 Program.
2.) Knowledge of ICD 705 Physical Security knowledge.
3.) Previous SAP experience & knowledge of DoD 5205.07.
4.) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
5.) Ability to multi-task and work in a team setting achieving common goals.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Security Clearance Information
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $69,900 - $123,280. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
