Job Description

Diversified Sourcing Solutions is seeking qualified Machine Operator candidates in Alabaster, AL

The pay for this position is $14/hour.

Machine Operators are charged with the safe and efficient use of manufacturing implements. The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma or equivalent and possess 1 year machine operating experience.

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator

Set up machines at the beginning of shift to ensure proper working order.

Perform testing procedures to ensure that machines work optimally during the production procedures.

Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift.

Troubleshoot problems during machine operation.

Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out.

Perform random tests to ensure accuracy and safety.

Ensure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on output.

Requirements of the Machine Operator

High school or equivalent

1 year machine operating experience

Experience with manual machinery to physically move the materials as needed throughout the process

Patience to succeed as there is a learning curve to become efficient in the position

High level of detail oriented dexterity

Ability to operate a forklift and maneuver 50+ pounds of material
