QA Tester

Job Description

We are offering a Remote employment opportunity for a QA Tester position in the United States. The role involves leading quality assurance tests and ensuring comprehensive documentation of test cases. The successful candidate will be involved in the entire project lifecycle, from discovery analysis to process documentation, and will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Testing Leadership & Coordination:

Lead project testing efforts, including planning, execution, and coordination of quality assurance procedures.

Develop and maintain testing schedules, track progress, and ensure adherence to timelines.

Identify gaps in test plans, scenarios, or scripts and address missing requirements efficiently.

Direct testing and troubleshooting processes while collaborating with both business and digital technology teams.

Documentation, Analytics, & Reporting:

Utilize best practices in discovery analysis and process documentation to support testing procedures.

Publish test progression analytics and reporting to various management levels, showcasing project status and risks.

Ensure all test cases are fully documented and defects are resolved and closed.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Host virtual and in-person meetings throughout the project lifecycle to attest to testing progress and quality results.

Provide data analytics and meaningful insights to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.

Quality Management:

Ensure testing processes align with the organization’s quality standards and objectives.

Leverage technical expertise to ensure all aspects of testing readiness, execution, and defect handling meet rigorous standards.

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Applications, or a related field; equivalent work experience is also acceptable.

3–5 years of experience as a Test Lead or similar role.

3–5 years of experience with SAP ECC systems and end-to-end SAP implementation projects.

3–5 years of experience with test management tools, such as ALM or qTest.

Experience with data center moves is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

Strong technical understanding of test planning, execution, and defect management processes.

Expertise in managing testing environments and ensuring readiness for multi-year projects.
