Robert Half is hiring for a Help Desk Technician I in BIRD IN HAND, Pennsylvania. This role functions within the tech industry, providing the first line of technical support to end-users. As a Help Desk Analyst I, you'll be tasked with delivering excellent customer service, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and maintaining high levels of user satisfaction.
**onsite 5 days a week**
Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inbound support requests via calls, emails, and tickets.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
• Document user issues and track their resolution using the help desk ticketing system.
• Collaborate with Level Two Support or other relevant teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
• Assist users with the setup, installation, and configuration of computer systems and peripherals.
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of frequently asked questions and their solutions.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and best practices to provide effective user support.
• Contribute to the maintenance and updating of the asset inventory.
• Offer training and support to users on various software applications and tools.
• Collaborate with team members to improve support processes and enhance user satisfaction.
• Proficiency in Office 365 and its functionalities.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking principles.
• Experience with Active Directory management and troubleshooting.
