JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of a project. They will champion customer communications, financial management, and scheduling during project execution. A key responsibility is risk management and financial management. This position makes decisions concerning all aspects of a project to lessen the impact of risk on the successful outcome of a project.
Responsibilities include:
Leading a team when necessary
Delivering a quality product on time and within budgeted estimate
Verifying, planning, and communicating project scope during Project Kick-Off Meeting (PKOM)
Activity planning and scheduling through use of MS Project Gantt charts
Communicating resource planning requirements to Director of Production and Plant Manager
Completing project documentation to include PKOM Checklist, Weekly Project Status Reports for customers, Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)/Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Equipment Ship Release forms, etc.
Reporting monthly job profitability; monitoring weekly
Managing risks and issues which could negatively impact job profitability and delivery
Communicating weekly with internal customers and project team on job status
Additional items as assigned by manager PRINCIPAL CONTACTS INSIDE/OUTSIDE THE COMPANY
This position interacts with Customers, inside/outside sales reps, and most Company employees including shop personnel, shop supervisors, estimators, salespersons, accounting, quality control, purchasing, engineering, and senior management.

Associate's or Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred
At least 1 to 3 years of experience in project coordination within a manufacturing operations environment
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired
EQUIPMENT USED
This position will use a personal computer, telephone, copier, and engineering measurement tools.
WORKING AND PHYSICAL CONDITIONS
This position will be in indoor and outdoor environments, general office, manufacturing floor and some traveling will be required.
