Location : Irvine, CA 92606

Type: Temp to possible Hire; no guarantees of duration of temp assignment or if assignment will convert to full time employment with Client

Rate: $17.00 -$19.00/hr** **no benefits, no paid time off, no holiday paid time off for temp duration

Job Purpose:

Under moderate supervision, this position is responsible for responding to provider or client inquiries via phone, fax or email. Proprietary workers compensation and auto liability claims cost-containment software will be utilized to look up these inquiries and all "touches" will be logged in Customer Service tracking/logging software.

Duties:

Answer phone calls and respond to provider's inquiries as appropriate

Handle provider email and FAX inquiries as assigned and as appropriate

Log all provider interaction "touches" fully, accurately and professionally

Handle all contact with all providers in a professional and courteous manner

Adhere to Productivity Standards as documented

Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance is required as an essential function of this role

Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:

Experience working in a Call Center and/or Customer Service department, 1-3 years

Ability to work in a high call volume environment while meeting Productivity Standards with high quality

Answer inquiries by clarifying desired information: researching, locating, and providing appropriate information

Researching billing history

Proficiency with touch-typing at a minimum or 40 WPM

Proficiency with 10-key pad at 9000+ kph or equivalent bill processing rate

Proficiency with MS Word and Excel

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High School diploma or equivalent

Strong attention to detail
